Iris Gregory's parents would have a fit if they knew the had attended the fight. When she meets Jericho after the fight, all she concludes is that he is uncouth. Jericho is also the most handsome man that she has ever seen. When Jericho notices the man driving her wagon, he is surprised. The man is the very person Jericho has been searching for in every place he passes through!
After Jericho rescues Iris's father from a raging river, he is not sure if the man is really the one he has been searching for. When Jericho moves into the Gregory home to assist on their farm, you soon learn bout the nightmares froths past.
When you learn that Jericho's birth name is actually John, you realize that he would rather forget the entire history of his life. You also learn that Iris is carrying secrets of her own. It is surprising when the truth is finally revealed!
