The Rocky Mountain Heiress Collection is a fun trio of novels by Kathleen Y’Barbo.

First, you are introduced to “Gennie” in The Confidential Life of Eugenia Cooper.  Gennie is a New York socialite who longs to live a life in the Wild West.  She has no idea what she will get in to.  She meets Daniel Beck and his daughter and her life is changed forever!

Next, you meet Anna in Anna Finch and the Hired Gun.  Having grown up in Colorado, Anna had the opportunity to have met legends like Doc Holliday.  So naturally her father has concerns about her safety.  He hires a Pinkerton agent, Jeb Sanders to keep an eye on Anna.  Get ready for the adventures Anna and Jeb will encounter!

Finally, you find Charlotte in The Inconvenient Marriage of Charlotte Beck.  When Charlotte is determined to go to college and her father, Daniel is determined to see her safely married, you see nothing but trouble ahead.  This is a fun tale that proves that often “Father knows best”!

 I have completed the first few days of the Unglued Devotional by Lysa TerKeurst and cannot wait to dive into the days ahead!

Lysa begins each day with a verse of scripture and a word of encouragement before she moves on to give you simple words of encouragement to help you get through your day.

The author’s main goal seems to be to lead you to turn your eyes from your problems to focus on our awesome God.  Lysa encourages you to reach out to God and share your thoughts with Him because God is big enough to handle our honest feelings!

It was fun to revisit the town of Smitten, Vt.  Each author in Secretly Smitten opens the storyline in a whole new way.

Three sisters discover a mystery in their Grandma Rose’s attic.  When they find the dog tags that had belonged to a former beau of their grandmother’s, the sisters begin a search to find Rose’s former love.

A whole lot more is discovered along the way.  Each sister’s life is changed as they each meet mystery men of their own!

Echoes

 

It was fun to revisit Echoes by Robin Jones Gunn.  Lauren Phillips has met someone online after her break-up with her fiancé.  The world of communicating with someone new without seeing them in person is a new experience for her!

Meeting someone online has become such a common way of connecting with someone these days.  It was fun to walk this crazy path with Lauren.  Hang on for the ride as she trusts God to lead her towards the unknown.
