Dauntless

Dauntless is the latest YA novel written by Dina L. Sleiman.  If you have young adults in your home who love to read, this is the action-packed tale for them!

In the year 1216 A.D., Merry is a young woman living in the forests of England.  A couple of years earlier during an attack on her home, her parents and older brother were killed.  At that time, Merry gathered together a group of children left homeless in the ruins of the battle.  These children were desperately in need of someone to make a new "home" for them.  Much like the tale of Robin Hood, Merry has led this group ever since as they learned how to rob the rich in order to stay alive!  The group became known as "The Ghosts of Farthingale Forest."

In order to evade the law, the group often has to move to a new location.  In their latest move, Merry runs into someone from her past.  Timothy Grey is the man she had planned to marry years ago.  The situation gets very complicated as Timothy works as an assistant to the local Earl, who demands that "The Ghosts" be found!

You see no easy solution for all involved.  Hang on to see how God changes hearts and resolves the situation as this tale comes to a close!
