Lily of the Valley

Lily of the Valley, by Sarah M. Eden, introduces Kester Barrington and several of his classmates at Eton.  Years later, these students, including Lucas Jonquil, are still his friends.  Currently, these men, who now refer to themselves as the Gents, are trying to encourage Kester to host a party on his estate.  But all Kes longs for some is peace and quiet!

Once Kes returns to his property to prepare for this party, he accidentally meets his new neighbor, Violet Ridley, in the midst of responding to a fire in her home.   Kes does not quite know what to make of this beautiful woman.  He is mesmerized by everything about her.  Before he knows it, Kes is offering this family a safe place to stay until their home is repaired!

When both Violet and Kes seem to have great interest in science and experiments, you will not be surprised to see a friendship develop.  By the end of this tale, you will not only see the introduction of a new invention, but also a friendship growing into something much more!

Definitely a fun tale to wade through!
