Glitter of Gold

Glitter of Gold is the latest from Liz Johnson.  This tale will take you down south to Savannah, GA.  You will meet Anne Norris and see how a poor choice has left a negative mark on her life, but you will also see how now she is trying to build a new life for herself!

When Anne takes a walk on the beach after a severe hurricane hits the area, she comes upon a piece of gold protruding from the sand.  Anne has been running a business, leading tours of the area telling tales of the pirates of old.  So when Anne sees this bit of gold, she thinks it may be of value!

Anne visits a local museum looking for information and she meets Carter Hale.  Little does she know, Carter has been searching for this bit of gold for years.  This find has come at just the right time, both Carter and Anne's businesses are in financial trouble!

While you read, you will learn about how Carter and Anne deal with this important find.  You will also learn about a tale from the 17th century, contained in a diary that has been in the Hale families' possession for years.  It is interesting to see how God uses this situation to meet needs in both Anne's and Carter's lives!
