No Journey Too Far

No Journey Too Far, by Carrie Turansky, continues the tale of the McAlister children and their journey to America.   This second book fills in the blanks as to the final destination of each child.  The youngest child, Grace, was adopted by a wealthy couple in New York.  Now Grace is on the verge of turning eighteen and her parents want to put her on the marriage market.  However, Grace wants to move in a different direction!

When her brother Garth suddenly shows up at her home, her parents do not believe he is truly her brother and immediately have him thrown out of the house.  Grace has been wondering about her birth family for awhile and sees Garth's offer to take her back to England to meet her birth family as an answer to her prayers.  After Grace decides to sneak out of the house and join Garth for this trip, you will not believe all the circumstances that keep getting in their way!

This is an interesting story to follow as you see the hand of God moving to bring this family back together.  You definitely do not want to miss the ending of this tale!

At Lighthouse Point

At Lighthouse Point, by Suzanne Woods Fisher, wraps up this author's latest series, Three Sisters Island.

Blaine Grayson goes to France to follow her dream of becoming a chef.  However, this plan does not come together as easily as she thought it would.  When Blaine comes to the point of giving up, God brings a friend into her life who brings hope to help her move forward!

After completing training at Le Cordon Bleu, Blaine is finally returning home.  When Blaine shows up at her father's camp, ready to share with her family all the changes the last two years have brought, she instead finds that her father and older sister, Cam, have taken it upon themselves to re-design the camp's kitchen.  Everything about this new set-up is opposite of what a chef would need. Blaine must find a different place to use her new skills!

So much has changed on this quiet island in Maine.  Some for the better; however, the locals are having a hard time adjusting.  Another major change Baine encounters is that her best-friend Artie Lotosky is now the island's doctor, and Blaine feels that she does not know this man at all.  Unknown to Blaine, an occurrence in their past has caused a breakdown in their friendship!

Watch and see if Blaine and Artie will be able mend their relationship as Blaine attempts to fit into this new and ever-changing world!

Let It Be Me

Let It Be Me, by Becky Wade, is a tale that opens with a bang.  Leah Montgomery, a math prodigy who is currently teaching advanced mathematics at her brother's high school, has received surprising news from a genealogy web-site.   The man and woman, who raised her, are not actually her birth parents!

This knowledge seems to open up a lot of unknowns for Leah.  Along this journey of trying to discover information about her actual parents, Leah crosses paths with Sebastian Grant, a pediatric heart surgeon.  At first, Leah does not remember that she had meet this man previously.  She had come upon an accident outside her hometown and this was that man inside a crumbled up vehicle!

This is an interesting tale as you watch Sebastian assist Leah in her search for her parents.  As with all of Becky Wade's stories, there will be surprises along the way!

You definitely do not want to miss this tale!
