Hidden in the Night, by Elizabeth Goddard, opens with Ivy Elliott entering a cabin, engulfed in snow, only to find a man beyond the unlocked front door with a knife protruding from his chest. Ivy had come to Alaska in response to a threat against her mother; however, this is the last thing she ever expected to encounter. You sense this will be a tale full of unknowns!
Two days previous Ivy had met up with the woman she thought could help with her quest to track down a rare manuscript. Ivy arrives only to discover that this woman’s granddaughter had not only taken the manuscript but she was missing herself. Now Ivy’s search has expanded from just locating a rare item to also tracking down a missing young woman who may also be in danger!
When Ivy seeks help from the Alaska State Troopers, she is surprised to be face to face with Nolan Long. She had met Nolan previously; however, Ivy had not been able to forget this man. Nolan was in the same place of limbo about Ivy!
It is interesting to see what Ivy and Nolan discover as they move forward in their search for this missing woman. They will definitely encounter a lot of action along the way!
