The Art of Losing Yourself

The Art of Losing Yourself is the latest novel by Kate Ganshert.  In this novel, you meet two sisters whose lives are falling apart, for two very different reasons!

Carmen Hart is a successful meteorologist married to Ben Hart, an equally successful high school football coach.  The main problem is that after six miscarriages, they are still childless and have a marriage that is falling apart!   Suddenly, Carmen's half-sister Gracie Fisher enters the scene.   Seventeen-year-old Gracie has lived her entire life with her alcoholic mother, who is drifting in and out of rehab clinics.  When Gracie becomes involved with problems at school, her mother threatens to send her to her father's house.  Gracie runs away to the only safe place she can remember, The Treasure Chest.

As these sisters begin restoring the old family hotel, Carmen and Gracie painfully attempt to grow a new friendship.  Along the way, their friendship does grow, but more importantly, they both find that God is the only one who can fill that hole deep inside each of them!
