A Distance Too Grand

A Distance Too Grand is the first novel in Regina Scott's American Wonders Collection.  You will meet Meg Pero as she attempts to join a military expedition set to begin exploring and documenting the land around the Grand Canyon.  The year is 1871, and it is not easy for a young woman to join this group as their photographer.  The leader of the group, Captain Ben Coleridge, is a former associate of Meg's.  You wonder if this will help or hinder Meg in her quest to find work!

Fortunately for Meg, the group is already behind schedule, so Ben quickly adds her to their ranks.  Meg has traveled for years with her photographer father.  Now that he has passed away, Meg must find her own way in the world, and she thinks this might be her best shot.  Ben also has an additional goal for this trip, he needs to find some clues to his missing father's whereabouts!

Watch and see how both Ben and Meg work to accomplish their individual goals: will they end up together or will they be even further apart?

I received this book from Revell in exchange for my honest review.
