Where the Stars Meet the Sea

Where the Stars Meet the Sea is Heidi Kimball's latest tale.  On the opening pages of this book, you will meet Juliet Graham as she is headed to the Shaldorn Castle for a house party with her aunt.  Juliet knows that her family is expecting her to help her cousin, Hugh, capture the heart of Lady Ellen, the daughter of the Everdale family.  However, when Juliet meets a boorish man in the halls of the castle, she will soon discover that he is actually the infamous Duke of Halstead!

This is a high paced tale.  As Juliet verbally spars with Halstead, you will see feelings for him begin to grow.  When Juliet learns that her other cousin, Robert, is romantically interested in her, she does not know what to do to.  Should she open her heart towards Halstead, a man much higher in rank than she is or turn toward Robert, the man who has always been her dear friend?

This tale gets even more complicated when Juliet's eleven-year-old brother, Harry, runs away from boarding school with the hopes of sailing the seas.  Juliet had been waiting for the day that she could become Harry's guardian; however, now she must rescue him from making a big mistake.  Juliet will be surprised when one of these men shows up to assist her in her efforts!

You will wonder if Juliet's heart follow the direction of society or if she will be strong enough to follow her heart's desire?

Now and Then and Always

Now and Then and Always is the latest from Melissa Tagg.  This story takes place near Maple Valley, Iowa.  You will remember this small country town from Melissa Tagg's previous books.  You will see glimpses of members of the Walker family on the pages of this book!

In this latest book, you will meet two emotionally wounded people.  Mara Bristol is living in fear, due to a young man who is stalking her.  Detective Marshall Hawkins has not been able to recover from the loss of his young daughter.  His marriage ended in divorce and now his captain has placed him on an extended leave.  Marshall soon finds himself volunteering to help Mara save the Everwood, the B&B where she has been living!

An interesting storyline includes a high dollar painting that has been missing for years and was last seen hanging on the walls of the Everwood.  It is fun to see what is discovered about where this painting has been hidden for years!

Watch God bring healing to both Mara and Marshall, by the final pages of this tale!

The Sheriffs of Savage Wells

The Sheriffs of Savage Wells is written by Sarah Eden.  I have loved every book from Sarah that is set in England; however, these western books did not disappoint!

Paisley Bell has been filling in for the "out of pocket" sheriff in the town of Savage Wells.  Now that the town is looking to fill the spot with a new sheriff, Paisley has thrown her name into the pot.  You will soon see that Paisley is going up against a strong group of men for this position!

Cade O'Brien, who has a well-known reputation as being a tough sheriff, is Paisley's most serious competitor.  It is fun to see how these two interact on the pages of this book!

Along the way, you will meet many of the quirky characters in this town and you will come to love each and every on of them.  Throw a bank robbery into the mix and you find that you have a tale full of more action the you would have guessed!

This is a book not to be missed!
