Sir Andrew and the Authoress

Sir Andrew and the Authoress, by Sally Britton, is a tale set in London, England in the year 1819.  Following the death of his father, Sir Andrew has been “adopted” by the Montfort family.  The Duke of Montfort considers Andrew a son; however, his oldest daughter, Josephine seems to be constantly annoyed by him!

When Andrew escorts the Duke’s children to the country for their protection from the possible Luddite uprisings,  he is surprised when he gets a peak into Josie’s  life.  She has been secretly trying to have a book published.  Unfortunately, Josie has had no success, as yet!

It is interesting to discover what type of relationship develops between Josie and Andrew.  Will it be merely a friendship or something much greater?

I received a copy of this book from Covenant Communications in exchange for my honest review.
