The Blooming of Delphinium

 

 

The Blooming of Delphinium is another interesting tale from Holly Varni.  Delphinium Hayes, a flower shop owner, can tell by someone’s scent whether they will be friend or foe.  When she meets Elliot Sturgis, the director of Moonberry Lake’s Senior Care Facility, she senses violets but also a bit of harshness!

It is fun to see Delphinium interact with the quirky elderly individuals who are never far from her shop.  It is also fun to learn what each scent indicates on the pages of this tale.  This group of characters from the nursing facility bring a lot of color to the pages of this tale!

After Delphinium and Elliot have a major conflict, hold tight to see if they are ever able to find any resolution.  This is definitely a tale worth reading!

One Last Promise

 

One Last Promise, by Susan May Warren, continues the story about the Mulligan brothers.   This tale focuses primarily on Moose Mulligan.  He reconnects with Tillie Young, a woman who formerly worked at a local diner.  Tillie has been absent for the past month; unfortunately, when she shows up she has been severely beaten!

The entire Air One team enters behind Moose.  All are in for the task when they learn that Tillie’s seven-year-old daughter is being held hostage.  However, Moose becomes the primary searcher on this job!

Hold tight through a lot of action and several truths being revealed by the final pages of this tale!

One Last Chance

 

One Last Chance, by Susan May Warren, opens with Axel Mulligan trying to rescue a young girl who has been caught up in some icy waters in Alaska.  Her kayak had bobbed up empty.  So Axel is diving deep to try to save this girl!

The next person you meet is Flynn Turnquist, a former detective who is currently in Alaska searching for her missing twin sister.  Before you know it, Flynn makes a connection with Axel and he decides to help her search for her sister!

It is interesting to watch Axel and Flynn work together, as they move through obstacles on their way to possibly locating her sister.  Hang on for the wild ride!
