They are traveling to accept a new housekeeping position, when their carriage is suddenly forced off the road.  When Elizabeth finds herself in a compromising position, she realizes she must marry the highjacker!

When Elizabeth is introduced to a houseful of new people, the only person she knows is her new daughter's fiance, Giles.  When Giles ends up dead the next day, Adrian and Elizabeth realize they have another mystery on their hands to solve.  As Elizabeth walks around the halls of Middlecrest Abbey, she does not know whom she can trust. This tale gets very complicated by the time you reach the final page!

Cross My Heart



















Robin Lee Hatcher added the book, Cross My Heart, to her Legacy of Faith series.  As with the the previous book in this series, the reader will jump between a story in present day and a story that occured in the days of WWII.

On the opening pages, you will meet Ben Henning, a man in the process of leaving behind a life of addiction to build a equine therapy barn.  By utilizing the farm he received from his grandfather, he hopes to assist others in need.  Ben soon meets Ashley Showalter, someone he thinks can assist him with this task.  Ashley has a sad story of addition in her own family, her younger brother is currently fighting a battle against this beast!

The WWII tale will tell the story of Ben's great-great grandfather, Andrew Henning, and his journey with his family through the uncertain days of a war taking place across the ocean!

Take a moment and see how both of these men (and women) learn to lean on their God to bring them through some terrible days!

The Land Beneath Us







The Land Beneath Us is the latest from Sarah Sundin.  This tale takes place in the days of WWII.  Leah Jones, only eighteen years old, takes a job as a librarian at Camp Forrest, a military base in Tennessee.  Clay Paxton is also on the base training to be a Army Ranger.  Clay and Leah briefly meet through their duties on the base; however, one evening their acquaintance turns into something much greater, when Clay saves Leah's life after she is brutally attacked!

While Leah is dealing with the after-affects of this violation, she learns that she is pregnant.  Leah has no idea how she can afford to keep her child; however, Clay steps in and offers to marry her.  Clay has been dreaming for months that he will die in the war, so he wants to offer Leah a way to keep her baby!

Leah and Clay are both dealing with feelings of emptiness.  Leah having been separated from her younger twin sisters and having no idea where they are; and Clay having been separated from his two older brothers, after they stole his girlfriend and his savings for college.  Leah longs for a feeling of home and Clay longs for his brothers to right the wrongs they brought into his life!

Watch as Clay travels to Europe for D-day and Leah seeks the location of her sisters after her baby is born.  Will they both trust in their God to bring them the peace that they seek?

Carrie Stuart Parks, latest suspense, Relative Silence, will keep you on the edge of your seat until the final page.  This tale begins with the sad remembrance of the day Piper Boone's young daughter, Dove, dies in a boating accident.  You will then fast-forward to current day, fifteen years later, when Piper is having lunch with an old friend.  When Tucker Laundry, the man sitting near Piper, notices a man on the street lift a rifle; you know this tale is about to take a deadly turn!

Piper is part of a wealthy Southern family, that is viewed as without fault.  When Piper invites Tucker, who was injured by the shooter, to recover on her family's island, he will soon discover they are far from perfect.  As Tucker, a former forensic artist, teams up with Piper to document the man who attacked them both, he begins to be drawn into this family's somewhat sordid history!

As Piper and Tucker attempt to solve, both the current and the old unknowns surrounding Piper's life, you will not believe the facts that come to life!

This is a fast-pace tale not to be missed!

On the Wings of Devotion has been been added to Roseanna M. White's The Code Breakers series.   Arabelle Denier is working as a nurse at a hospital in London.  Every day as Arabelle goes about her duties, she often catches a glimpse of Phillip Camden, dubbed "Black Heart".  Phillip joined the nearby codebreakers division, shortly after an accident took the lives of his entire air squadron!

Now that he is seen as the cause of the accident, Phillip is having trouble moving on with life.  When Phillip needs help dealing with a family situation, he seeks out Arabelle for help.  Phillip's younger sister has shown up pregnant and the cause of the event is none other than Arabelle's fiance!

As Phillip and Arabelle spend time together dealing with this situation, you will see something developing between them.  However, the situation suddenly becomes complicated.  Someone from Phillip's past has shown up and is possibly up to no good.  You have no idea what complication will come in these troubling days of WWI!
