Acceptable Risk

Lynette Eason's latest book, Acceptable Risk, is yet again a tale full of action from page one.  Sarah Denning is a military journalist working in the Middle East, when she is kidnapped along with a group of young girls.  Gavin Black, a former Army Ranger, is called in to attempt a rescue.  After Sarah is successfully returned to her home in the states, not only will she have to deal with emotional hurts from her past, but danger seems to have followed her home, as well!

Gavin and Sarah had previously met in their time overseas.  So it seems that their reconnection may lead to something more.  When Sarah's father receives threats on his life, he hires Gavin to keep Sarah protected.  Now, you know for sure that things may soon change!

As Gavin and Sarah seem to be finding danger at every turn, it is interesting trying to put all the pieces of this tale together.  Hold tight as you wait to see if the pieces finally fall into place!

A Dazzle of Diamonds

A Dazzle of Diamonds, by Liz Johnson, tells an interesting tale.  Penelope Hunter, working as an event planner, is shocked when the man, who left her at the altar, suddenly walks in her door with his new fiance!

Penelope is not sure how to respond.  Out of habit, she turns to her best friend, Tucker Westbrook.  Penelope and Tucker have been there for each other, ever since they were young.  This time is a little different.  Tucker is experiencing trouble of his own.  He is attempting to run for sheriff, but there is gossip brewing about his family ancestors stealing a treasure that is loaded with diamonds.  Unfortunately, this could have a negative effect on his campaign!

It is fun to see how Penelope and Tucker deal with both of their traumas.  You will be excited to see where Penelope and Tucker land by the end of this tale!

Where Dandelions Bloom

Tara Johnson's latest, Where Dandelions Bloom, will take you back to the early days of America.  The battle between the North and the South has barely begun.  Cassie Kendrick is having a battle herself; only it is with her drunkard father, who wants to give her in marriage to another evil man.  In an effort to save herself, Cassie decides to disguise herself, as a man named "Thomas Turner", and head off to join the battle!

In the early days of the fighting, 'Thomas' meets Gabriel Avery, a young photographer looking to make a name for himself, and a friendship slowly begins to form.  Watch and see what happens when Gabriel realizes that "Thomas"' is actually a woman in disguise!

This tale is full of so much action and detail about this time in our past.  It is a good reminder of what those who came before us had to endure!
