Of all the books in the A Year of Weddings series, I enjoyed An October Bride by Katie Ganshert the most!
This book kept my attention from beginning to end. You meet Emma Tate at a low point in her life. After she learns that her father is dying of cancer, she cancels her wedding plans with her fiance. When Emma discovers that the last entry on her father's 'bucket' list is to walk her down the aisle, she must get in high gear to find another fiance!
Enter Jake Sawyer, a longtime friend of her older brother and her entire family. Before you know it, Jake has committed to help Emma in her plan to put together a 'fake' wedding plan.
Hang on for this fun and wild ride with Emma and Jake!
