However, before Ansgar can do anything, he is forced to leave the kingdom. To make matters worse, on his way out of town, Ansgar is attacked by a band of rogue knights. When a flying fire-breathing creature swoops in and rescues him, Ansgar is saved from sure death. He soon finds himself dropped-off at the farm of Lis’s family. Ansgar and Lis had previously meet due to their mutual concern for the king!
Now Lis quickly moves into action to treat Ansgar’s injuries. Once Ansgar begins to heal, he feels he must return to try to protect the king.
