Out of Time, by Irene Hannon, opens with anthropologist Cara Tucker on her way to a country estate to look into some age-old journals. When she arrives, she discovers Natalie Broyer, the woman she will be working on this project, has fallen from a dizzy spell. The paramedics and police have arrived to check things out.
